All groups, organizations, clubs, etc. eligible with Township Board approval are allowed to use the building free of charge, however, they must sign a lease before being permitted in the building. Person signing lease must be in attendance. This pertains to one free lease per calendar year.
There will be a $100.00 fee for the use of the hall for any additional events within that year.
This includes rentals for organizations outside of Merritt Township or Bay County.
50th Wedding Anniversary Parties are free to Residents only. Lease agreements must be signed by the resident celebrating the 50th Anniversary. Note: Residents are required to pay security personnel, bartenders, and special deputies.
